 Currently pitching her work to agents, Kelli Jae Baeli’s debut mainstream fiction offering, Achilles Forjan, is difficult to nail down, but most likely falls into the Suspense genre.
Baeli humorously refers to this book as “a genre-bending, psychological,
suspenseful, legal and medical mystery.” KIWI Club Reviews says, “This is a marketable story. It has all of the necessary elements: good
characterization; interesting and well-described settings; authentic- sounding
dialogue, and what’s more, Baeli is a superb writer! This is some of the
best work we’ve ever seen here at KIWI.” On the heels of Achilles Forjan, is her newest mainstream work, Baggage.Baeli has been writing seriously for over 20 years, and says, "I made sure I did not fall in love with my words, but with my craft." Her books always have happy, resolved endings. A Member of the High IQ Society, Golden Crown Literary Society, and currently completing a degree in Professional Writing, she plans to pursue her MFA as well, believing in the value of self-improvement. A freelance writer and editor, Baeli is also a vocalist, mixed media artist, webmaster, masseuse, as well as a voluminous songwriter with over 200 songwriting credits. She enjoys creating Independent CD’s in her project studio, pottery and other clay art, cooking, gardening, and building rustic furniture.
